For those you seeking a lakefront home, you will find great options in the Mill Quarter subdivision on Lake Randolph or the very popular Lake Shawnee subdivision in central Powhatan. Additional lakefront homes can be found in the newer Fighting Creek subdivision as well.

While the population in the Richmond area continues to grow, one thing is for sure, there are not making any more land. While Powhatan offers convenient access to Richmond, Short Pump, and Midlothian, you would be surprised at how much farmland is still available in the area. Whether you are looking to raise beef cattle, dairy cattle or just shelter for your equestrian friends Powhatan is a great county to consider. There are also a variety of agricultural farms in the county including corn, wheat, soy, tomatoes, beans, and more. The soil is bountiful in Powhatan and so are the opportunities.

If you are seeking luxury real estate, Powhatan has many offerings on that front. Many other areas near Richmond can not offer estates with acreage like Powhatan can. Not only can you get a home over 5000 square feet with multiple out buildings, your estate can reside on 5, 10, even 25 acres. Many homes include in-law suites, large multi car garages and more.
