The Dorset region of Powhatan County, Virginia is highlighted by gently rolling countryside and sprawling hillsides, but this is only one factor that makes the area desirable. Some of the more popular neighborhoods include Dorset Meadows, Genito West and Lake Shawnee. The region enjoys access to the Flat Rock Elementary School. Blessed Sacrament Huguenot – an area staple – gives residents the option of a private education.
