Even with the cohesive look of Mill Quarter, the homes were built over the course of many years, with some of the earliest being constructed in the 1970s. Some of the lots in this community are built around Lake Randolph, a popular 90-acre lake in the region. Due-paying members of Mill Quarter have unlimited access to this lake and everything that comes with it. Homeowners are welcome to utilize paddle, row and sail boats on Lake Randolph, as well as boats with electric trolling motors. This body of water is a popular fishing destination in the area, thanks to its full stocking of crappie, brim and sunfish. Of course, activities on the lake are not limited to fishing and boating, residents also enjoy swimming, floating, tubing and much more.
Along the shores of Lake Randolph are common areas and pavilions that are ideal for family and community functions. In fact, the Mill Quarter Property Owners Association has their annual meeting in this area. All new and existing members of the association are welcome to attend, and food and drinks are provided by the Board of Directors, though members are encouraged to bring a dish to share. This simple meeting helps foster a sense of community and gives residents a chance to get to know one another and form ever-lasting bonds over issues that are important to them.
